Counselling offers a safe, confidential space where students can speak to a caring professional who will support and guide them as they process through difficulties and learn more about themselves and others. Some of the reasons why students turn to counseling include homesickness, to enhance their communication skills, and to help develop life-coping strategies.
Counselling assists in personal growth and in helping children resolve any personal or social roadblocks. Students may seek counseling to learn skills for resolving conflict or in learning to effectively communicate with others. They may also wish to learn about their own psychological development, their personality type, and what motivates them. For many people, the simple act of talking through a problem is enough to help them find a solution.
It’s not usual for any child to experience some anxiety and sadness as a normal part of growing up. If, however, this becomes a roadblock to their learning and adapting, our counsellors are available to help the students work through and resolve the issue.

Learning support services are available throughout the school. We embrace Imagines’ guiding principal which values diversity. Learning support at Imagine caters to students who are intellectually capable of meeting curriculum and assessment requirements. We provide moderate individual support, in-class modifications. The Learning Support department provided specialist teacher support to students who have identified learning difficulties. Occasionally, short term support is available for new students who require it. All students attend regular mainstream classes and Learning Support is provided either through in-class support. Special care is taken to ensure that students do not miss classes they really thrive in.

Education Department of Odisha has instructed all the Private Schools in Odisha state to admit 25% of students, starting from Grade 1 from “Weaker sections” or the “Backward class” (SC/ST) communities and provide them scholarships. As per this rule, Imagine School is committed to provide scholarships to the students from weaker section and tribal communities. Following are some of the guidelines to follow for those who receive financial aid:
Imagine welcomes applications from highly motivated students looking for a transformative education. Strong academic achievement is valued alongside a willingness to participate in a broad and challenging programme – including outdoor education, enrichment experiences and engagement with the local rural communities around us. Our Financial Aid programme ensures that deserving students from different cultural, socio-economic and/or religious backgrounds are able to attend Imagine School in order to support the School’s commitment to global mindedness and peace.
We enroll the most talented and deserving students regardless of their financial circumstances. For those who demonstrate merit and financial need, we offer a comprehensive program of financial aid that is unmatched in India.
Should you be interested in applying for a grant along with your admissions application, the online admissions application will provide the needed direction.
The Grant application must be submitted along with the application for admissions. Grant applications received after the admissions review process will not be considered. Imagine School is not bound to meet the full declared financial need of a family, but will make an offer in its best judgment within the school’s available resources. All grants are for the period of one year. The school will request an annual renewal.
