From Mud Walls to English School

Meet Rajeshree. She is 4 years old from a remote village of Odisha, India. She has an elder sister and now both of them are studying in Imagine School. She does not remember her father as he passed away 3 years ago. Her grandparents are caring for her family. Her village has 20 to 30 houses. After her father passed away, her family sufferred a lot. They could not afford meals twice a day.  They could not live in their home as her mother was jobless. They have no land of their own to cultivate and grow crops. So her mother works daily and brings income that is hand to mouth.

Rajashree’s mother came to know about Imagine School. Like other parents, she had a desire to send her daughters to our school. When we heard their story, we decided to help provide education. We are all about changing lives! Rajashree’s favourite colours are white and red. She loves drawing and colouring, playing with toys and friends. Abover all, she enjoys going to school every day. Once we asked her about her future dream. She replied, “I would like to become a teacher when I grow up.” Help Rajashree to fulfill her dreams!
